These are the rules for using babysharks.club. The Privacy Policy covers what we collect and how to delete it.
BabySharks (babysharks.club) is run by Wholeharted Wellness, LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company. “We” and “us” mean that company. “You” means the person using the site.
Using BabySharks means you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site. Questions about anything here can go to wholehartedwellness@gmail.com.
You must be 18 or older to create a BabySharks account. We don’t ask for proof of age, so this is on the honor system — but if we learn an account holder is under 18, we may remove the account.
Kids are welcome to play through a grown-up. An adult creates and manages a Baby Shark for a child from the adult’s own account, and we suggest a nickname rather than a child’s full name.
Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you, so tell us if you think someone else has gotten into it.
BabySharks is free. There are no entry fees, no wagers, no payouts, and no cash prizes. Point spreads are used only to score picks for fun.
Badges, records, ranks and leaderboard places are parts of the game. They have no cash value, can’t be redeemed or transferred, and we may adjust or remove them — for example when a score is corrected or a badge’s rules change.
Don’t use BabySharks to run a betting pool or anything else that involves money changing hands.
Shark names, bios, photos and linked social usernames stay yours. By posting them you give us permission to store and show them on the site — including resizing a photo or showing a Shark on leaderboards and other people’s screens — for as long as you keep them up.
Only post things you have the right to post, and keep it friendly. In particular, don’t post:
We can remove a Shark, a name, a photo, a Shiver or an account that breaks these rules, and we can suspend or close an account. We’ll give you a heads-up when it’s practical, but we don’t have to. The Report button on a Shark sends it to us for a look.
A Shiver is a private group. Its admins invite and remove Sharks, add and remove games, settle a tied pool, and can delete the whole Shiver. A Shiver always keeps at least one admin, and if the only admin deletes their account, the Shiver passes to another member.
We don’t referee what happens inside a Shiver. Disagreements about a pool, a draft or a removal are between its members.
Game schedules, scores and point spreads come from outside sources. They can be wrong, late, or corrected after the fact, and records and badges can change when that happens.
BabySharks isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NFL or any of its teams. Team names and logos belong to their owners and appear here to identify teams.
Some pages show sponsor banners. Clicking one takes you to that sponsor’s own site, which we don’t control and aren’t responsible for. A banner isn’t an endorsement of what’s being advertised.
If something on BabySharks uses your copyrighted work without permission, email wholehartedwellness@gmail.com with: what the work is, a link to where it appears on the site, how to reach you, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized and that what you’ve told us is accurate. We’ll look into it and take down anything that should come down. Accounts that repeatedly post other people’s work get closed.
You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings → Scuttle Account. What that removes is spelled out in the Privacy Policy.
BabySharks is a free, for-fun project. We may add, change, pause or stop features — or the whole site — at any time, and we may take it down for maintenance. Keep your own copy of anything you’d hate to lose.
We work to keep BabySharks running and accurate, but it’s provided as-is. We don’t promise the site will always be available, error-free or correct, and to the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for losses that come from using it or from being unable to use it.
Some states don’t allow these kinds of limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here takes away rights you have under your own state’s consumer protection laws.
If these terms change, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page, and we’ll say so on the site when a change is significant. Continuing to use BabySharks after that means the new terms apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts serving Fayette County, Kentucky.
